My name is Lars Rosager, and welcome to my website. I am a musician and writer living in Petaluma, California, USA. The goal of this site is to share my skills via the world wide web; please feel free to browse the drop-down menu above to explore samples of my work, learn more about services I offer, check out photographs and videos, follow my performance schedule, read the blog, and make purchases. Textual Chordophonics is a term I have coined to describe my field of expertise, the study of how language arts interact with lute-family instruments. Currently, my focus is on the westward movement of Indo-Persian traditions to Islamic Spain, and the subsequent evolutions of these traditions as the Western European Renaissance asserted itself. If you are interested in hiring me, collaborating on a project, taking lessons, or simply putting yourself in contact with me for whatever reason, please email or call. Scroll down for links and downloads. Thank you.
My Master of Arts thesis is available here:
"Being Myself," an original composition performed by me and Blake Lowrey-Evans.
